Alan Canas, Realtor®
Born and raised in the San Francisco Peninsula, Alan Canas combines his intimate knowledge of local demographics with practical business skills to provide a unique and valuable professional service. Through his financial and client management skills, and his extensive Human Resources knowledge, Mr. Canas is able to provide clients with a holistic and practical approach to building internal and external real estate relationships.
Building on a degree in Business Management, Alan Canas initially focused his career on gaining a thorough and practical understanding of the financial side of business. In 1997, Alan Canas decided to focus on another key aspect of business: client relations and human resources. Working for CIGNA HealthCare, Mr. Canas managed employer health and welfare plans for key middle market clients. In 2000, Alan Canas was approached by a San Francisco based small business services provider, Korody Business Services (KBS), and became their primary resource for HR and benefit services. Having gained an in-depth understanding of small business needs and financing, Alan Canas took the next step, he was the co-founder and acting CFO for a web-based business providing gourmet gift products: BeyondGourmet.com. Alan has been involved in various real estate investment ventures, most recently, Cashin and Company.
On a personal note, Alan Canas is an active participant in finding foster families for animals left homeless, and continues to foster animals at his own home. He is an active participant in the Golden Retriever Rescue organization. Alan also donates time to HIP housing.
Over the past three years, Alan prides himself on his personal service and attention to his clients every detail. Alan truly believes a team out performs an individual.

As a long time team member of The Alan Canas Team, Rachel brings experience, dedication and attention to detail to each transaction.
She is responsible for a variety of tasks for The Alan Canas Team. Rachel’s most important assignment is to act as a liaison to our clients. She skillfully manages the home sale process from listing/purchase through escrow, to provide smooth transactions. She coordinates all marketing activities, which include MLS and our Website, to provide the most effective exposure to each listing. In addition, she makes sure that all marketing and sales information is communicated to our clients on timely bases. Rachel’s ability to handle concerns from our clients allows the team, to devote their time and energy to ensure the perfect transaction for each client. Her energy, enthusiasm and commitment, guarantee that our clients receive nothing but the highest quality of customer service care.
