Coal Creek
Located southwest of Portola Valley between Alpine Road and Skyline Boulevard, this 386 acre preserve offers rolling meadows, large madrones, a picturesque barn and forested headwaters of two creeks. Coal Creek is located one mile north of the Page Mill Alpine Road intersection on Skyline Boulevard.
El Corte De Madera Creek
Terrain of this 595 acre preserve is steep and heavily forested, including some interesting
formations. Located four miles north of Skyline.
Heritage Grove

Lang Ridge
Situated on the
western slope of Skyline Ridge, the preserve provides striking views of Big Basin State Park, Butano Ridge and Devil's Canyon. There are 3.5 miles of trails, including one that connects with Skyline County Park.
Purisima Creek Redwoods
Located on the western slope of the Santa Cruz Mountains overlooking Half Moon Bay, the preserves has ten miles of trails through redwoods, ferns, berries, wildflowers and hardwood forest. The area has a rich history of logging.
